The Brokenback Vineyard, Pokolbin, was planted in the 1970's by a visionary group led by the late, legendary, Len Evans, AO, OBE. Over the ensuing years the vines have produced premium wines under a variety of labels. In 2008 the vineyard then in two parts, was purchased privately and amalgamated.

Made from Chardonnay grapes grown on our Brokenback Vineyard this refined sparkling wine displays aromas of almonds laced with elegant melon fruit flavours. The vibrant palate has a generous but delicate refreshing citrus core with a complex creamy finish.

Enjoy this early drinking style on any occasion.

Appearance: Deep red/purple in colour with a vibrant crimson hue.

Bouquet: An intense bouquet of plum and spice with supporting oak.

Palate: This  Hunter Valley Shiraz displays a lovely fruit rich palate complexed with peppery and spicy notes. The polished tannins are ripe and supple. Combine this with quality French oak barrel maturation and the wine delivers a generous, well structured and sophisticated mouth feel with great length of flavour.

This iconic Long Flat Red wine label has been a consumers' favourite for over 50 years and a wine that has been talked about for generations. This is a wine label with rich heritage and crafted from grapes grown on our privately owned vineyards in the Central Ranges of NSW.

Considered as the best Bar-B-Que wine or a wine for all occasions, this versatile blend of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot is one to please the most. This wine over delivers in quality and is exceptional value for money, with flavours of black and red currant and red cherries.
