Our Western Slopes Shiraz is an isolated parcel selected from the west-facing, low yielding vines on our Brokenback Vineyard and is produced in very limited quantities. This 2018 Hunter Valley Shiraz displays layers of dark berry fruit flavours with a touch of spice and a fine, silky tannin structure. The well-integrated French oak leaves the palate full yet soft with great complexity and length.

Cellaring: Careful cellaring up to 10 years will be rewarded.

2023 Brokenback Semillon

The Brokenback Vineyard, Pokolbin, was planted in the 1970's by a visionary group led by the late, legendary, Len Evans, AO, OBE. Over the ensuing years the vines have produced premium wines under a variety of labels. In 2008 the vineyard then in two parts, was purchased privately and amalgamated.

Our Brokenback Semillon is harvested early to capture the crisp citrus flavours with delicate, refreshing acidity. The result is a light, elegant wine style displaying a wonderfully lifted lemon citrus bouquet with lingering lime fruit flavours adding great length to the wine.

Cellaring: Vibrant and lively whilst young or will gain rewarding complexity with medium term cellaring 2 – 10 years.
