The Brokenback Vineyard, Pokolbin, was planted in the 1970's by a visionary group led by the late, legendary, Len Evans, AO, OBE. Over the ensuing years the vines have produced premium wines under a variety of labels. In 2008 the vineyard then in two parts, was purchased privately and amalgamated.

Our Brokenback Chardonnay is an elegant wine displaying grapefruit and sweet nut aromas. With subtle and well integrated French oak being provided by barrel fermentation the palate is generous, complex and refined with a creamy texture and a lingering finish.

Cellaring:  Excellent for immediate consumption or will gain rewarding complexity with medium term cellaring of 2 - 5 years.
